If RCB hopes to change their fate in the IPL, they must address these fundamental issues. While they may occasionally ride on the brilliance of their star players to victory, long-term success in a tournament like the IPL requires a more balanced and well-rounded squad. This means investing in proven Indian batters, strengthening their bowling resources, and evolving their team structure.
RCB’s recent demoralizing defeat against the Mumbai Indians should serve as a wake-up call. They need to acknowledge that their current strategy is unsustainable. The longer they ignore these issues, the further they will be from lifting the coveted IPL trophy.
